Hello to the few.
Just wanted to pop by and point out that my swanky new book for Albert Whitman & Co, The No-Dogs-Allowed Rule by Kashmira Sheth is now on sale.
The book has come out really well. I'm chuffed to bits with what they've done. Hardcover with dust jacket, crystal clear print quality inside & out, nice paper for this kind of book, good binding and I love the red undercover with metallic red embossed text. Check it out carlpearce.deviantart.com/art/…
One little detail though. A pretty atypically American mistake. "Wales, England"? Really, guys? Ha ha.
Other than that little faux pas, a cracking job all round. A big thanks and well done to my esteemed colleagues at Albert Whitman Publishing, Illinois, Canada.
Or is America in Mexico?
Ha ha.
Now. Rush out and buy this beauty. The story is great, the main protagonist, Ishan, is a proper little scamp and a nice believable character. I'd assume it'll be available in paperback format soon too, and you can buy from the usual places, online and high street.
You can find it hither www.amazon.co.uk/No-Dogs-Allow… and thither www.amazon.com/No-Dogs-Allowed… amongst others.
Seeya!

I'm ba-aaack...
Hello to the few.
I'm back. Back again. Guess who's back. Tell a friend. etc.
Sorry I've been away for a stint. Between the full time bloody big series I've just completed for a reputable and well paying publisher, being a full time dad, full time home maker (!) and so on, I've not had time to work on ANYTHING for myself. At all. So many ideas, zip time to do 'um. My paid work has been / still is under embargo so I've just lurked in the shadows watching dA like an pencil-fondling Quasimodo. So I've popped something on here today for any of you who still keep and eye out or even give half a crap.
Here's to adding more in the future going on
T-Shirts to be bought
Hello dA.
Have you ever wanted one of my pieces of work on a t-shirt? I can't imagine why anyone would, but if you do, you can find one here http://www.teefury.com/fantastic
The good people at TeeFury.com emailed last week and asked if they could use one of my pics on a t-shirt. I liked the idea and then they told me I'd get a bit of a kickback, which sealed the deal. It's milk money for my baby so pay up ya bastards.
Hope you like / buy.
Cheers

Cintiq or Huion?
Could anyone help with a bit of tech advise?
I really need to buy a drawing tablet that I can draw directly onto the screen for work and with a baby on the way, there's no way I could justify shelling out over £1000 for one.
I'm currently eying up the Huion GT 220 and the Wacom Cintiq 13HD, which both come in at around £550.
If anyone has used both, which do you honestly think would be the better purchase out of the two?
Cheers!
Los Angeles Mi Amor
Hi Guys.
Hope you're enjoying 2015 so far.
I've got a bit of a favour to ask of you. Do any of you know of anyone on deviantArt, or elsewhere, who is a photographer of the Los Angeles area? Just, like, a resident of the area who just takes consistent, intimate, urban, lovely photographs of the day to day life of Los Angeles and / or the surrounding cities and areas.
For a bit of context, I live in a damned dreary part of the world. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful area with mountains, valleys, beaches, forests and castle ruins etc... It's just the weather here on the Clwydian Range is dire. Rainy and windswept and not conductive to upb
