A sample image from the book I finished a few weeks ago.
These were all drawn to be black line only due to me not reading the part where it mentioned grey-scale shading. Oops.
Personally I think they came out all the better for it. The 'painted' things on the wall were done with a sloppy old brush and some runny Platignum ink. However, I had to draw the drips in myself because the damned ink wouldn't run on Cartridge.
Makes a change.
This is the same as the previous image but colourised. Let's see which gets the better reaction. As if I have to ask.
